Prize Money
- R 190 000.00 total prize money is up for grabs in the BSG Energade Triathlon Series.

Registration
- Online entries close on Wednesday 12h00 prior to each event.
- Cheques are made payable to Cycle 14 and can be handed in at Cycle Lab Fourways on weekdays between 9am and 5pm.
- Gauteng events only - registration at Cycle Lab Fourways on the Friday prior to event at 14h00-17h00
- PE event, pre-race registration at the venue the Saturday prior to the event from 14h00 - 17h00
- Cape Town, KZN events, online and on-the-day registration only
- No refunds for no shows, or if race is changed or cancelled due to safety reasons.
- Athletes can NO LONGER register at the venue on the day (Saturday) prior to each event.
- To qualify for the TSA discount on entry fees athletes must register prior to the race through their province and be in possession of an official TSA registration card.
- Race day registration will take place from 06h30 till 09h00. Late entries will be accepted on race morning at an additional charge.
- Registration of all participants must be completed by 09h00, therefore ensure that you arrive early at the event.
Electronic Chip Usage
- Participants will have to purchase a chip from registration at a cost of R80 or rent a chip at a cost of R20 (deposit of R50).
- This chip can be used for the entire series.
- Teams use only one chip per team.
- The timing chips must be worn on the ankle otherwise it will not register on the timing mats.
- Only overall finish times will be provided.
- Results will be available
on the Monday after the event at: www.bsgenergadetriseries.co.za
Points
- Cumulative points for any four events determine the BSG Energade Triathlon Series winner (athletes may choose any four events).
- If two or more athletes have the same number of points going into the final event, the athlete with the best placing in the final event will be determined the winner.
- If, for any reason the triathlon is changed to a duathlon, the points for the event will count as per normal.
- Athletes competing for the Series winner title will have to start the final race - if they have sufficient points from four other races, the final event won’t be taken in to consideration for the Series winner.
Bad Weather Conditions
- If the weather conditions result in a compromise of safety standards, the triathlon will change to a duathlon.
Vitality Points
- You can now boost your Vitality points by 3 000 or 5 000 Vitality base fitness points for any BSG Energade triathlon event. In addition you will receive an extra 5 000 Vitality booster fitness points even after you maximise your Fitness category points if you complete just five fun events.
